Recurring dream

...well more like a nightmare. However, I figured it would make for an epic trailer for a movie. I'll try my best to explain it without giving away too much where some random guy reads this and steals my idea hehe

So my dream goes like this...
The scene opens with a mother and her two children in a 1950's-esque room, and she is feeding them some cheap, off brand oatmeal for breakfast. She then pours the two kids a glass of water, but the water seems dirty or contaminated. The mother begins to talk to her children, asking them if they did their homework, blah blah blah, goes over their ABC's while they took their "vitamins" (the bottle will be labeled in such a manner as to show the audience that the vitamins are government provided). The family seems happy and everything seems normal. However, when the mother says its time to put on their coats and gear and that it is time to go to school, the daughter breaks down into tears. The boy becomes angry and begins to protest, "No mommy I don't want to leave the house again! Please! Please mommy! Let's stay home again, please!"
The mother ignores them and puts on her children what seems to be government issued gear to protect against chemical attacks. The music escalates into a dramatic, edge-of-your-seat, WHATTHEHELLISGOINGON, tense moment as the mother puts on a gas mask. "Put on your gas mask, kids. PUT THEM ON! We have to go to school or we won't get the check from the government this week!"
The kids, in full tears, put on their masks and they head upstairs (by now it is revealed that the house was an underground dwelling, as the mother and two kids rush upstairs and open a door into the above ground world)
The camera pans out slowly, revealing that outside the dwelling is a mass maze of trenches going for hundreds of miles, there are mortars going off everywhere. Explosions rock the family, as they rush through the maze of trenches. Dirt is thrusted upwards left and right, bullets ricochet off sandbags piled up at certain edges of the trenches, and RPGs zoom across the skies. Machine guns fire the entire time, and yelling can be heard throughout the entire scene (yelling is a mix of wounded and dying people, people barking out orders, and the mother yelling for her kids to run faster and her children crying in fear). The camera pans out farther, revealing  a half bent flag pole with the American flag still hung on it (however it is riddled with bullet holes and smeared with blood), and right next to it is a street sign saying TEXAS

End scene

Yeah. It's a nightmare...  but I figure it could make an epic movie. What do you guys think?

Militias... Should we be concerned?

No I'm not talking about the National Guard. I speak of 100% citizen run and funded militias.
Check it out on YouTube. Search for militias, like the Ohio State militia. They are extremely well funded, well trained, and armed to the tooth.

They have sophisticated training facilities and equipment. Is this cause for alarm?
They claim to exist simply for the aid of local law enforcement agencies during times of emergency or for a time when the "constitution is needed to be defended from a tyrannical government".

I don't think our current government is tyrannical in any way, let alone any future government administration...
unless, like I stated in my previous post, some catastrophic event occurs. So why are there SO MANY militias forming, with numbers steadily increasing. Is something being planned that the majority of people are unaware of?

I seriously gotta get to work on that novel... this would make one epic movie

All things must come to an end... right?

All great empires throughout the ages have eventually come to an end. I know it's hard to imagine, but what would it take for the current superpowers to shift?

If you're a Christian then you must also believe in the end times. Revelations, the Apocalypse, Rapture, all that juicy goodness. If you're a Christian then it isn't inconceivable to fathom that the United States could collapse. But how? How could that happen?

I keep having nightmares ... about how it could happen. Perhaps I should write them down and make a novel out of it? Who knows. I may get rich and get a fat, juicy Hollywood movie deal out of it. May as well enjoy life while I still can. What do you think? How could the United States fall?
